Ending Young Murdering The Young
Greetings in the Wonderful Name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha Mashiach.
Many men, women, children and grandchildren need positive guidelines in their lives to be well adjusted citizens in a viable society. The Ten Commandments are one source of good moral behavior and have been for thousands of years. American law is derived from English Common Law, which is rooted in the earlier English 15 and 16 century translations of the Bible, of which the King James Bible and Geneva Bible were instrumental in the forming of America’s Constitution by its 55 composers and signers, fifty-two (52) of which were bible believing, and for the most part, bible obeying Christians.
Two (2) were Catholic and one was a Deist. It is no coincidence since America’s citizens, its public schools and law makers have gradually removed these Commandments over the years from our public institutions, that crime has increased in our society. Our children are growing up without a sense of accountability for their actions. They, and all of us need to be held accountable to a Higher Authority, for the fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom. The enclosed Ten Commandments within the gold designed template can be easily enclosed in an inexpensive 11” x 8 ½” frame. Good idea to hang one in each of your children’s, or grandchildren’s room(s) and even one in your own room, as a reminder to travel the straight and narrow. (Matthew 7: 13, 14)
Desmond Dos, a World War II medic, was so motivated by the sixth commandment in the Ten Commandments hung on the wall in his childhood, and his faith in God influenced him not to take a life but to save lives. He became the only US conscientious objector to receive the Medal of Honor for saving the lives of 75 of his fellow soldiers. (See Hacksaw Ridge movie)
On the other hand, it is obvious that Nikolas Cruz, the “broken”, young man who murdered 17 and injured an additional 15 at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida was neither aware nor submissive to the sixth of the Ten Commandments, or for that matter any other command of God.
Jesus Christ said (Matt. 24:12) in the Last Days iniquity (Greek: lawlessness) shall abound and the love of many shall wax cold. Part of that lawlessness is the shunning of the Ten Commandments and the Salvation message and commands of Jesus Christ. Romans 8:11 tells us that if the same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead lives in you, He will also raise you from the dead on your last day. That Spirit is also called the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, the Counselor, the Comforter, the Helper and The Teacher. The only way you can receive the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, is to be born again. John 3:1-7. Go to Watchmen Ministries web site below and look for the web page “Your Hope” It will show you how to be born again and have the Spirit of God live in you so you will be raised up on your last day.
